Lyakhovichi
Lyakhovichi is located in the Brest region of Belarus on the Vedma River, which flows through the territory of the Nesvizh region and flows into the Shchara. From 1655 to 1760, the Belynichi Icon of the Mother of God, an icon of the Mother of God revered by the Catholic, Orthodox and Uniate population of Belarus, was located in Lyakhovichi. There are two large food industry enterprises in Lyakhovichi: the Lyakhovichi Dairy Plant (produces milk, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, whey, puddings, mousses, processed cheeses, butter, yoghurts) and Lyakhovichi canning factory (produces tomato sauce, squash caviar, soups, salads, pickled and garnished beets and carrots, canned beans, nectars and juices, jam). Main attractions: Church of St. Joseph, Chapel-tomb of Soltanov, Chapel-tomb of Reiten, Holy Cross Church. About 10 thousand people live in Lyakhovichi.
