Dokshitsy
A city in the Vitebsk region, in the north of Belarus. It is located 200 km from Vitebsk, 12 km from the Parafyanovo railway station on the Molodechno-Polotsk line, connected by roads to Vileika, Glubokoye, Lepel, Begoml. The source of the Berezina River is located 1 km west of the city. The population is 6954 people (as of January 1, 2018)[3]. The first information about the city was found in the charter of the Grand Duke Vytautas (1407), where the villagers-tributaries "doxyczahe" are mentioned. Tributaries from Dokshitsy were handed over to the Vilna voivode Voitekh Manivid.
