Kletsk
Kletsk is located in the central part of Belarus on the Lan River. The Old Russian period of the history of Kletsk is reflected in the Tale of Bygone Years, the Ipatiev and Laurentian Chronicles. After a long period of time, the city appears in the Belarusian-Lithuanian chronicles of the 15th-16th centuries. Since the second half of the 15th century, Kletsk has often been mentioned in act materials. Throughout its early history, Kletsk was closely associated with Turov. The border of Turov and Polotsk lands by the beginning of the 11th century took shape south of Izyaslavl and Minsk. Thus, already at that time, Kletsk was under the rule of the Turov and Kyiv princes. In Kletsk, there is the Museum of the History of Kletchina with thousands of museum items from the main fund. About 11 thousand people live in Kletsk.
