Glubokoe
Glubokoe - located in the north of Belarus, on the Old Smolensk road, between Vilna and Polotsk. And the administrative border of the Polotsk and Vilna voivodeships passed through the Glubokoye along the Berezovka River. There are five lakes in the city. One of them, Lake Glubokoe, now Kagalnoye, gave the city its name. One of the most remarkable sights of Gantsevichi is the Museum of the aircraft designer P. O. Sukhoi in the city secondary school No. 1 named after P. O. Sukhoi. The Cathedral in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary is an example of baroque architecture and the main religious landmark of the city. Visitors can take a tour of the cathedral and admire the beautiful frescoes and sculptures.
