Bobruisk
A city of regional subordination, the administrative center of the Bobruisk district of the Mogilev region of Belarus. The name of the city comes from the name of the river Bobruika, which flows into the Berezina. It is assumed that in the XII-XIII centuries Bobruisk belonged to the Minsk principality. For the first time Bobruisk is mentioned in the charter of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Jagiello, which is addressed to his brother Skirgaila and is dated April 28, 1387. As of January 1, 2021, there were 211,389 inhabitants in Bobruisk.
